About Us

    The Crazy P Bunkhouse, LLC came about as our wish to get out of the rat race of the East Coast and back to a more relaxed way of life. Last year my husband Jesse, and I decided to fulfill our dream of owning land in Texas. We pulled out the atlas and literally started picking out towns and researching the areas. Central Texas sparked our interest the most. I chose to be the one to take a break from training horses and do some in depth research into the Stephenville area of Texas. The title "Cowboy Capital of the World" was all it took. My husband is full time farrier and avid team roper and I train horses. Our daughter shows Appaloosas and although my son is a mean dummy roper he hasn't yet taken the plunge into horse activities. The area around Stephenville is magic to me. The way the terrain changes within miles, the warm, friendly people, the fantastic bar-b-que (which I can't get enough of) and just the quiet way of living was enough to make me not want to hurry back to Virginia.
    After numerous trips that I personally enjoyed more and more, our idea of land turned into a horse facility for people to hopefully use when in the area. It also gives us the opportunity to come and visit Stephenville as much as we can. Right now we are still based in Virginia but one day we hope to become true Texans ........
